Form of Work Authorization July 21, 2026 Ridgewood Trails Community Development District Clay County, Florida Subject: Work Authorization Number 002 Professional Engineering Due Diligence Services Dear Chairperson, Board of Supervisors: Alliant Engineering, Inc. (“Engineer”), is pleased to submit this work authorization to provide engineering services for the Ridgewood Trails Community Development District (“District”). The Engineer will provide these services pursuant to our current agreement dated April 15, 2024 (“Engineering Agreement”) as follows: I. Scope of Work The District will engage Engineer to perform the following services: 1. Professional engineering due diligence services relating to the District’s evaluation of approximately thirteen (13) acres of real property within the District’s boundaries (“Property”). The Engineer shall conduct analysis and evaluations, including site visits, as are reasonably necessary to determine whether the Property may be sold without materially affecting the District’s facilities, infrastructure, operations and maintenance obligations, and/or regulatory compliance. 2. The Engineer’s services shall include the following: a. Review of pertinent available plats, surveys, conveyance documents, easement documents, construction plans, permits, engineering reports, District records, and other available documents relating to the Property, and identify any permit conditions, maintenance obligations, operation requirements, and regulation restrictions affecting the Property; b. Determine the extent to which the Property contains, supports, or is otherwise associated with stormwater management facilities, drainage conveyance systems or improvements, retention or detention areas, swales, canals, berms, culverts, and control structures, and whether the Property is necessary for the operation and maintenance of the District’s stormwater management system. c. Evaluate whether the conveyance of the Property may adversely affect the District’s compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, governmental approvals, and/or permits. d. Identify any improvements or facilities that should remain under the District’s ownership or control, or be protected by easements, maintenance agreements, or other mechanisms if the Property is conveyed. e. Perform additional engineering evaluations as reasonably necessary to provide the District with a complete assessment of the Property. 3. Upon completion of the due diligence services, the Engineer shall provide the District with a written engineering report containing a summary of the Engineer’s findings and shall identify any additional services the Engineer recommends before the District considers disposition of the Property. II. Fees The District will compensate the Engineer for up to four (4) hours to perform due diligence services. Services shall be billed in accordance with the hourly rates established in the Agreement between the District and the Engineer. This proposal, together with the Engineering Agreement, represents the entire understanding between the District and Engineer with regard to the referenced work authorization.
